MOL Joins Project to Develop Frozen and Refrigerated Warehouse in Singapore

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) has joined forces with Kajima Development Pte. Ltd. to construct a cutting-edge frozen and refrigerated warehouse in Singapore's Jurong area. This initiative marks MOL's commitment to investing in Southeast Asia, leveraging its regional headquarters in Singapore. The facility, dubbed the "Tallest Industrial Refrigerator in Asia," boasts advanced features such as a 45-meter-high automatic storage and retrieval system and eco-friendly design elements. Strategically located near Jurong Fishery Port, the warehouse aims to streamline cargo operations with 130 loading bays. Commonwealth Kokubu Logistics, a major food logistics provider, is set to be the anchor tenant, signaling promising synergies.
