Today is the anniversary of the death of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.

Every year, I attend the memorial service at Kadikoy Wharf near my house, but I am unable to attend this year due to a business trip. It is really a pity.

Without him there would be no such developed Turkey. Also, I may not have worked in Turkey either.

Turkey will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year. In such a year, I am really happy to be able to work in Turkey.

I would like to continue to make efforts for the economic development of Turkey and the further development of the relationship between Turkey and Japan.
